As we work on our "Wave" essays we can use the blog as a tool for peer editing. Today, we would like you to post the rough draft of your first paragraph. Then go back and comment on at least two other students in the class.

Questions to ask yourself when peer editing:

Based on the first sentence, does the writer draw you into his/her essay? Why or Why Not?

Does the writer use appropriate language in his/her first paragraph? Why or Why Not?

What is something you liked about the writer's first paragraph? Explain.

What is something the writer could improve on in his/her first paragraph?
